The Challenge: Originally intended as a billboard for TEDxLusaka, the design wasn’t chosen.

My Approach: Rather than shelving it, I transformed it into a personal project. Drawing from 1980s synthwave aesthetics and the Lusaka skyline, I created a series exploring the city through a nostalgic, futuristic lens across multiple colourways.

Impact: This personal project became one of my most recognised works and is now available as posters and postcards in the Mbembe store.
